First Grade's Thanksgiving Museum
Mullins' Museum is a first grade project sponsored by the Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP). The purpose of the museum is to use project-based learning with first grade students. The parents and students are given a subject (such as Thanksgiving). Together the parent(s) and the student create a museum quality project. The museum is open at school during a PTA meeting. It is also open for all of the school and the community members to tour during the school hours. To make the museum a global experience, the STLP has taken digital pictures of the projects, and the pictures are now on display via this web site for all the world to see!
